Healthy, homemade chicken fingers

A kid-friendly, quick meal!

Ingredients
- Skinless, boneless chicken breasts cut into 1 centimeter strips
- 1 egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
Directions
- Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel and season with garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- In three separate bowls place the flour in one, egg mix in another and breadcrumbs in a third.
- Dip the chicken first in the flour then egg and finally the bread crumbs shaking off any excess every step of the way.
- In a large skillet on medium heat add the oil and pan fry the fingers until golden brown and cooked thru about 5 min.
