Korean noodles with grilled short rib
Ingredients
- 1.4 kilograms Korean style short rib
- 1-1/2 cup bean sprouts
- 1 onion, sliced
- 300 grams rice noodles
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup gochujang
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 bunch green onion sliced
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
Directions
- Place ribs on hot, oiled grill pan with salt and pepper, three minutes or so per side.
- Place rice noodles in boiling salted water.
- Mix marinade ingredients.
- Flip ribs after three minutes then pour half of marinade on meat, reserving other half for noodles.
- Once ribs are cooked, add bean sprouts and onion to pan to soften.
- Remove noodles and add to bowl of remaining marinade. Toss and place on serving platter.
- Top with cooked meat, vegetables, and add additional scallion and sesame seeds!!
