Homemade ketchup
Ingredients
- 2 cups passata
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- In medium pot over medium heat, combine passata, vinegar, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil; reduce to low. Cook, stirring frequently, until reduced by about half and thickened, about 20-25 minutes.
Tip: For a sweet and spicy version, stir in 1 tablespoon Sriracha after cooking.
