Maple chai au lait

  • 2 cups (470 milliliters) milk
  • 2 chai tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) maple syrup
  • Grated nutmeg, for topping


  1. Add milk and tea bags to a saucepan. Heat gently – do not boil – and let steep ten minutes. Remove from heat. Remove tea bags. Stir in maple syrup. Divide between two mugs. Top with grate nutmeg.
