Ingredients
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
6 eggs (room temperature)
2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup milk
Icing sugar, for garnish
Mini eggs, icing, for garnish (optional)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Mix butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add baking powder and salt. Mix well.
Add three eggs, one at a time, and mix each individually well. Add in the fourth egg.
Add two tablespoons of flour. Repeat for the fifth and sixth eggs.
Combine vanilla with milk.
Add one-third of the flour and half of milk, then one-third of flour and half of milk then one-third flour.
Pour batter into the greased pan.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Decorate with icing sugar and mini eggs or fill the center with icing and top with a chocolate-covered strawberry that looks like a carrot.
