Not a pumpkin spiced latte

Who needs a #PSL when this winter-ready, warm toddy-style cocktail can fill your pumpkin craving? Bursting with pleasant textures, flavours, and bitterness, this easy-peasy drink whips up in minutes.

Ingredients
- 1/4 whole lemon, juiced
- 0.5 oz malt liquor
- 0.5 oz Chinotto Reduction (a root and herb Italian Soda but reduced with sugar)
- 4oz black tea
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin puree
- Grated nutmeg, for garnish
Directions
- In a cocktail shaker, squeeze in the lemon and add the remaining ingredients but the nutmeg.
- Cover and dry shake until pumpkin puree is broken down, about five to 10 seconds.
- For hot: Pour contents into a heat-proof mug. Cover with saran wrap and microwave on high for two minutes (or heat mixture on medium-low in a pot on the stove). Enjoy!
- For cold: Add ice and shake for 10 to 15 seconds and strain into a tall collins glass. Garnish with grated nutmeg. Enjoy!
