Ingredients

1/2 cup (125 milliliters) unsalted (or lightly salted) peanuts

1 cup (250 milliliters) water

1/2 ripe plantain, diced

1/2 cup (125 milliliters) quick oats

1 cup (250 milliliters) beer

2 teaspoons (10 milliliters) pure vanilla extract

1 cup (250 milliliters) condensed milk

2 teaspoons (10 milliliters) grated nutmeg, divided

Ice cubes

Exotic flower or sorrel (wild hibiscus) as garnish
Directions
- Add the peanuts and water to a blender and blend for approximately one to two minutes.
- Add all other ingredients and blend well. Serve over ice cubes, garnish with remaining nutmeg, push a straw through the hibiscus and serve.
