Ingredients
-
8 ounces brick-style cream cheese, cubed and softened
-
1/4 cup mayonnaise
-
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
-
2 cups shredded sharp (old) Cheddar cheese
-
1/4 cup diced pimentos, well drained
-
1/4 teaspoon each salt and black pepper
Directions
- In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, combine cream cheese and mayonnaise. Add Worcestershire, Cheddar cheese, pimentos, salt and pepper and mix until well combined and fluffy. Add additional salt and pepper, if desired. Transfer to a serving dish. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to five days. Makes about 2-1/2 cups (625 mL).
- Tip: This cheese is so versatile — experiment and enjoy in a grilled cheese sandwich, stirred into macaroni and cheese, spread on a burger, slathered on a fresh hot biscuit and with any other food you can think of!
