Royal icing
Buying icing from the store might seem like an easy option, but this recipe is quick AND tasty to make. It's also the perfect icing to go on top of these delicious sugar cookies.

Ingredients
- 3 ¼ cups of icing sugar
- 2 large egg whites
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Food colouring (optional)
Directions
- Using an electric mixer beat icing sugar and egg whites and lemon juice on medium for 10 minutes.
- The mixture should be thick and shiny.
