Sheila’s famous prosciutto basil pasta

Keep it simple with this delicious pasta dish! Made with cherry tomatoes, parmesan cheese, prosciutto and basil, you will love how elegant this meal is. 



  • 100g Fusilli pasta (approx one box/bag)
  • 3 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 8 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 6 oz thinly sliced Prosciutto di Parma (1 package)
  • 1 cup shaved parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup packed basil leaves, cut with scissors at time of serving
  • Drizzle of olive oil, for serving


  1. Cook pasta al dente, according to package directions. 
  2. Add cherry tomatoes, a drizzle of olive oil, and garlic to a small bowl. Let marinade while the pasta is cooking.
  3. Add cooked pasta to individual dishes. 
  4. Top with tears of prosciutto, freshly shaved parmesan, cut basil, and marinated tomatoes. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste, and serve at room temperature!
  6. To serve, arrange, dress and plate on individual plates. Enjoy!
