Simple and healthy breakfast oatmeal
Ingredients
- ¼ cup rolled oats
- Small piece of cinnamon stick
- 1 or 2 bay leaves
- 2 pieces allspice
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut (unsweetened)
- Greek yogurt (unsweetened)
- Touch of nutmeg
- Vanilla
- Fruit
Directions
- Bake coconut in oven for 30-60 seconds at 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Boil in water cinnamon stick, bay leaves, allspice on medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Stir in oats. Boil for five minutes then add milk and drops of vanilla. Stir occasionally until thickened. Remove allspice and bay leaves.
- Place breakfast portion in bowl. Add yogurt, baked coconut and preferred fruits. Eat and enjoy!
