Slow cooker mashed potatoes

Who doesn't love mashed potatoes? It might seem complicated to make but by using a slow cooker, you'll have time to cook other things.

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs, russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup, whole milk
  • 1 cup, heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup, butter

Directions

  1. Add Potatoes, Water, and Salt and Pepper to taste in a slow cooker. cook on high for four hours.
  2. Add Milk, Cream, and Butter and additional Salt and Pepper to taste. Use a potato masher or a hand mixer to mash until smooth.
  3. Guests can garnish with whatever toppings they like to customize their mashed potatoes.
