Smoked butter poached corn of cob
Ingredients
- 1-2 cobs of corn
- 1 pound unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- Pinch of pepper
Directions
- Preheat grill to medium low heat
- In a small BBQ safe insert add in butter liquid smoke and salt, then add insert into top shelf of BBQ and slowly melt.
- Once melted add in cobs of corn and poach in smoked butter on low heat until cooked.
- Remove from heat and serve while spooning melted smoked butter over the corn and sprinkle with black pepper. Save remaining butter.
