Smoked butter poached corn of cob

Ingredients

  • 1-2 cobs of corn
  • 1 pound unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • Pinch of pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium low heat
  2. In a small BBQ safe insert add in butter liquid smoke and salt, then add insert into top shelf of BBQ and slowly melt.
  3. Once melted add in cobs of corn and poach in smoked butter on low heat until cooked.
  4. Remove from heat and serve while spooning melted smoked butter over the corn and sprinkle with black pepper. Save remaining butter.
