Probably the most traditionally popular cocktail hour drink in Spain, this gin and tonic is all about the presentation.

  • 2 1/4 oz gin
  • 4 oz tonic water
  • Lemon or lime slices, to garnish

  1. Into a balloon glass filled with ice, pour in a quarter oz of gin.
  2. Stir vigorously to season the glass.
  3. Use a Hawthorne strainer to dump the gin.
  4. Pour in two oz of new gin, and top with tonic.
  5. Carefully lay the citrus into your cocktail, and stir. Enjoy!
