Ingredients
-
1 cup chopped dark chocolate
-
1/4 cup unsalted butter
-
2 eggs
-
1/4 cup white sugar
-
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
2/3 cup all purpose flour
-
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
-
1 teaspoon baking powder
-
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
-
1 cup milk chocolate chips
-
2 chocolate bars of your choice, chopped into 2.5 centimeter pieces
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 375°, and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, melt chopped chocolate and butter. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs, both sugars and vanilla and set aside.
- In a medium sized mixing bowl sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
- Add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture and fold in the milk chocolate chips.
- Using a tablespoon cookie scoop, place one scoop of the brownie batter onto prepared baking sheet. Nestle a piece of chocolate bar in the centre and then scoop another tablespoon of the batter on top. Repeat until all the batter is used.
- Bake for 17-19 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on baking sheets for about 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely. Enjoy!
