A fun festive alternative is a virgin Caesar because it is loaded with the minerals you need to feel better without the need for alcohol. Do not try this if you have a history of ulcers or heartburn because tomato juice is acidic.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup glass rim seasoning salt
  • 1 wedge lime
  • 1 1/2 cups pure vegetable juice or organic tomato juice
  • 1 lime freshly juiced
  • 1 tsp coconut or tamari sauce

Optional

  • Celery
  • Olives
  • Ice

Directions

1. Cover small flat plate with seasoning salt.

2. Use 1 lime wedge to wet rim of each glass, then coat with salty seasoning.

3. Add ice if desired. Pour juice, lime juice, coconut sauce into the glass and stir.

4. Garnish as desired with celery and or olives.
