Vodka and blood orange cocktail
Available in Ontario from December to as late as May in supermarkets, the blood orange has gained popularity over the years given they’re packed with antioxidants and contain up to 130% of the recommended daily amount of Vitamin C. Anthocyanins in the pulp and rind, the powerful antioxidant, give blood oranges their red colour. The same natural pigment turns cherries red and blueberries blue.
