Canadian actress Iman Vellani shares her journey to landing the role of ‘Ms. Marvel’

Ms. Marvel is a new series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager who suddenly gets the superpowers like the heroes she idolizes. Like her character, Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani is also a huge superhero fan—she even made her own Ms. Marvel costume at the age of 15 for Halloween! She recently stopped by The Marilyn Denis Show to chat about what it’s like joining the Marvel family, and how working on the show changed her relationship with her own heritage.
