16 Cookie Monster-approved treats your kids will love

Brought to you by the letter 'C'!

Ever since we heard Sesame Street is coming to Crave this month, we've got cookies on the brain! To cure our cookie cravings, we've rounded up our favourite recipes that your kids—and Cookie Monster—will gobble right up.

Trashy cookies

Who doesn't love a cookie crammed with plenty of stuff—salty, sweet, chewy, crunchy, melty. Rummage through your cupboards and baking drawers and toss in handfuls of whatever you find, particularly those ends of bags that might wind up forgotten in the back of the pantry—and viola! Oscar the Grouch would definitely approve.

Oatmeal chocolate chip bars

Made with rolled oats, chocolate chips, and brown sugar, these bars will become your kid's favourite snack.

Chocolate chunk tahini cookies

These cookies are one of the rare variations that are just as good as the original! Made with nutty and salty tahini, brown sugar, sesame seeds and topped with sea salt, these cookies are rich, savoury and sweet.

No-bake breakfast cookie

Cookies for breakfast? Yes, we made it happen. The idea behind this make-ahead snack is to sneak in a lot of good stuff. Think nut butter, oats dried fruits and chia seeds. It's the perfect breakfast on the go!
