To celebrate World Cocktail Day, we rounded up our favourite simple recipes that take the hard work out of bartending, so you can spend more time with your guests.

Champommie cocktail

Summer pineapple fruit cocktail

A light and refreshing option!

Campfire cocktail

There's nothing better than sitting by the campfire with one of these in hand.

Kir cocktail

This French-inspired sipper is so easy to make.

Pink smoke cocktail

Floral melon summer cocktail

Perfect for summer! A delicious combination of fruity and floral, this is made with gin, grapefruit juice and tonic water. It's great for patio sipping.

Green with envy cocktail

Honeydew melon in a bevvy?! Yes, please! This tasty drink is actually alcohol-free, making it a great option for anyone of any age who wants to join in on the Pride celebrations. Sweet, minty and a whole lot of fun, this drink is perfect for the hottest summer day!

Sweet and smoky spicy sangria

This sangria gets its smokiness from the jalapenos and the sweetness comes from grapefruit and orange liquor.

Hibiscus rum cocktail

A sparkling cocktail inspired by the novel, Summer of My Amazing Luck by Miriam Toews. Enjoy this refreshing drink all summer long.

Tequila Negroni

Switch up the gin for tequila in this classic drink.

Blonde mojito

A mojito with a twist!

Rhubarb Collins

This fizzy spring-forward cocktail uses a rhubarb saffron shrub—shrubs are a form of drinking vinegar made with fresh fruits—since rhubarb is starting to come into season and has a great tartness to it, let it sit in some sugar, with its natural juices diluting the sugar. Adding some saffron adds a great depth of flavour.

Breakfast in bed spritz

This spritz-y beverage can be had as a late brunch cocktail like the classic French 75.

Rosé brunch punch

The perfect punch for your brunch bunch. Bubbly rosé and tangy grapefruit come together for a delicious pitcher drink.

Vegan jelly tequila cocktails

Make your own vegan version of jelly at home using guava nectar, agar powder, lime and tequila. Serve these at your next party and watch them disappear!

Lavender whisky sour

Aquafaba cocktails are becoming all the rage in bars around the globe. Aquafaba provides a wonderful froth and texture, and we promise you won’t miss the raw egg white that’s typically used. This Whisky Sour recipe is sweet, tangy and just as frothy as the real thing. We infused a bottle of whisky with four to five lavender sprigs the night before to create a subtle floral aroma and taste.

3 G's cocktail

This ginger and citrus-infused drink is perfect for sharing with friends on a patio.

French 75

Whisky and grapefruit come together for the perfect drink!

Strawberry margarita

An easy way to incorporate fruits in your cocktail is by the way of infusion—infusion just means soaking an ingredient in another and letting the flavours extract. Strawberries have great floral sweetness and take really well to infusion, especially for a premium quality tequila. A little bit of agave syrup to add sweetness but not too much, and paired with a fruit-infused salt is the perfect start to a pretend-it’s-summer cocktail.

Green elixir

With a green tomato puree, some cucumber juice and a squeeze of lemon— it’s the ‘healthier’ version of your classic Bloody Mary. This is a fun, savoury cocktail with a ‘load up your greens’ option for a garnish. Paired with a bit of vodka. this drink is deliciously refreshing.

Porto tonico

Portugal’s version of the classic gin and tonic, this cocktail is tasty, balanced and refreshing.

Spanish gin and tonic

This gin and tonic is all about the presentation.
