An inexpensive way to feed a family that is nutritious and absolutely delicious. Using inexpensive cuts of protein like chicken legs helps reduce costs and gives the dish so much flavour. Frozen vegetables are also a great way to budget. The vegetables are picked at their peak and frozen.

Lentil ragu

Dried lentils are an inexpensive substitute for protein and are so nutritious. Slowly simmered in an aromatic tomato sauce makes it so delicious and flavourful. This lentil ragu can also be enjoyed on top of creamy polenta or mashed potatoes.

Using medium ground beef saves you dollars and with its slightly higher fat than lean, it gives it a juicier and flavourful bite.
