Pantone's Colour of the Year is something designers, style experts, and design lovers look forward to each year. They are the colour authority, and their annual reveal helps guide trends in home decor, fashion, and even beauty. After the deluge of troubles that 2021 threw at us, we were pretty happy to discover that this year's shade delivers a vibrant dose of dopamine to the eyes.

Pantone Colour of the Year for 2022 is (drumroll please!) - Very Peri - a colour that encourages creativity and imagination and is a fusion of a dynamic peri (winkle) blue and a vivid violet-red undertone. The faithful and reliable blue blends with the vibrancy of red to create an energizing new hue. 

If you're feeling intimidated to experiment with this bold and fun colour in your home decor, there are plenty of colours you can pair with the dynamic Very Peri shade. It goes with neutrals like brown and sand, but also brights like gold, orange and reds.
