Nothing ever goes out of style forever. To prove that, stylist Erica Wark highlights three trends that are back and shares tips on how to style them.
The mom jean is back in a big way! It's totally normal to be a little apprehensive to try this look because they don't often look like they'll be flattering, but these days they're done in a high-rise cut, which is universally flattering. The modern mom jean is cut a little more slim and has a bit more stretch compared to the baggier version that rocked the '80s. Erica suggests the best way to modernize this trend is to opt for a classic black denim.

If you were a fan of shoulder pads, we don't blame you! They can add so much fun to an outfit. This season, we'll be seeing more of a subtle version of the classic shoulder pad look. Erica's tip with this trend: don't feel like you can't wear something on top, like a cute shacket. Since the shoulder pads are so subtle, you can easily wear a jacket on top without feeling like a football player.
