Cafe au Lait Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 cup large flake oats
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons instant espresso powder
  • 2 tablespoons smooth natural peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, to serve
  • 1 ½ teaspoons chia seeds, to serve
  • 1 ½ teaspoons hemp hearts, to serve

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the oats, milk, vanilla, instant espresso powder, peanut butter, maple syrup and salt. Transfer to a jar or airtight container. Alternatively, you can divide the oats into separate jars. Let the oats sit a minimum of 4 hours or overnight in fridge.
  2. When ready to eat, garnish with the cinnamon, chia seeds and hemp hearts if desired and enjoy either cold or warmed up!
