Remove the pizza dough from the fridge and heat your oven to 375ºF. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, green onions, and garlic. Split the pizza dough into two equal pieces and form each into a ball. Stretch each ball into roughly a 10-inch circle. Place one circle onto the prepared sheet pan and spread the cream cheese mixture overtop. Place the second circle of pizza dough overtop and pinch the edges to seal.
In a small bowl, beat together the egg and water and brush over the pizza dough pocket. Scatter with the everything bagel seasoning and a pinch of flaky salt.
Place a standard drinking glass onto the centre of the pizza dough pocket. Using a sharp knife, cut 16 equal spokes out from the edges of the drinking glass for form almost a starburst look.
Twist two of the sections away from each other so that they each complete one full rotation, then pinch the ends together to bring the two sections to a point. Continue twisting and pinching until all the sections have been arranged.
Bake the star bread for 25 minutes or until golden brown and set. Cool slightly or completely on a wire rack before serving.
