Ingredients

  • 2 kg Pork Back Ribs
  • ¼ cup Cajun seasoning blend (or any blend of choice)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Directions

  1. Remove the silver skin from the underside of the rack of ribs. Cut the ribs into two bone portions.
  2. Season the rib portions evenly and all over with the cajun seasoning blend.
  3. Tuck the ribs into a slow cooker. Close and set on high. Cook for 4-5 hours until the meat is very tender.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line two baking sheets with aluminum foil
  5. Transfer the ribs to the lined baking sheet. Brush each rib generously with barbecue sauce. Bake in the oven for 8 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and brush with more barbecue sauce. Serve.
