Fancy Chocolate Mocha Dupe

Ingredients

  • 2 shots espresso
  • 1oz ‘Mocha Sauce’ (recipe follows)
  • 2 oz oat milk foam 
  • Extra mocha sauce for topping

For the Mocha Sauce

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Add Espresso and ‘Mocha Sauce’ into a shaker, shake and dump into a tall collins glass.  
  2. With a frother, froth up 2oz Oat Milk and layer on top of drinks.
  3. Top with extra mocha sauce.

For the Mocha Sauce

  1. Combine: In a saucepan, whisk together cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Heat: Add the water and place over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a gentle boil and looks smooth and glossy.
  3. Finish: Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Cool & Store
