Ingredients
Gochujang mayo:
- ½ cup of mayo
- ¼ cup gochujang
Spicy cucumbers:
- Toss thinly sliced cucumbers
- 1 tbsp gochugaru
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Miso onions:
- 1 white onion, sliced
- ¼ cup miso
- ¼ water
- 1 tbsp honey
Burger:
- ½ lb 80/20 ground beef
- Salt & pepper
- 2 tbsp Gochujang
Assembly:
- sesame seed bun, buttered and warmed on grill
- Shredded lettuce
- Gochujang mayo
- Miso onions
- Spicy cucumbers
Directions
For the Gochujang mayo:
- Combine ½ cup of mayo with ¼ cup gochujang and set aside.
For the Spicy cucumbers:
- Toss thinly sliced cucumbers with 1 tbsp gochugaru, 1 tsp salt, 1tsp sugar, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce.
- Set in the fridge for 20 minutes.
For the Miso onions:
- Add onions to the pan along with miso, water, and honey.
- Saute until onions are soft.
For the Burger:
- Divide your ground beef in half and form into 2 patties. Your thumb to press a divot in the middle of each patty. Set in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
- Allow to grill undisturbed for 3-5 minutes. Flip, grill for 2-3 minutes and brush the top side with Gochujang.
