Ingredients
Mix:
- 2 Tbsp (16 g) instant skim milk powder
- 1 1/2 Tbsp (12 g) good-quality cocoa powder (regular or Dutch process)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp (18 g) granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp (8 g) freeze dried raspberry powder
To Make:
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) 2% milk, or even water
- Mini marshmallows, for serving
Directions
- Stir the milk powder, cocoa powder, sugar and raspberry powder together in a small dish. Transfer to a container and store at room temperature until ready to use.
- For each serving (if batching up), measure 6 Tbsp of cocoa mix into a pot for every 1 ½ cups of milk or water.
- Whisk the cold milk or water into the cocoa mix in a pot and bring up to a simmer over medium heat, stirring. The cocoa will thicken a little as it cooks, so once it coats the back of a spoon, ladle into mugs and serve topped with marshmallows.
