Ingredients
Cheese:
- 5 oz (140 g) Piave cheese (preferably 1-year aged)
- 5 oz (140 g) Friulano cheese
Accompaniments:
- 5 oz (140 g) soppressata, thinly sliced
- 5 oz (140 g) olive oil–marinated artichoke hearts
- Good-quality salt-flavored kettle chips
- Green Bella di Cerignola olives
- Italian fennel taralli
- Good-quality orange jam or marmalade
- Spiced mixed nuts
- Baguette, sliced and toasted
Aperol Spritz:
- Ice
- 2 1⁄2 oz prosecco
- 1 1⁄2 oz Aperol
- 3⁄4 oz club soda
- 1 medium-thick orange slice
Directions
To make the Aperol Spritz:
- Fill a large stemmed red wine glass three-quarters of the way with ice.
- Add the prosecco, Aperol, and club soda and gently stir to combine.
- Drop in the orange slice or place it on the edge of the glass as a garnish.
