Ingredients
For the Tahini (Tashi):
- 1 cup tahini pulp
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 large garlic clove
- 1/3 cup + 2 tbsps ice water
- 1 tsp sea salt
For the Garnish:
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- finely chopped Italian flat leaf parsley
Directions
- In a blender or food processor, add tahini, lemon juice, garlic and salt. Pulse a few times. With the motor running, slowly pour in ice water and puree until smooth.
- Garnish with olive oil and parsley
Tip: Tahini can be refrigerated in an air tight container up to 2 weeks. Add tahini to salad dressings for creaminess and a nutty flavour.
