To the outside world, Mena Suvari was hailed as America's sweetheart. She dominated screens in the 90's as an award-winning actor, starring in American Beauty, American Pie, Six Feet Under, and American Horror Story, among many others. Behind closed doors, though, was a different story.
Mena is opening up for the first time about her life of dark secrets, including years of sexual and emotional abuse. She's sharing it all in her new memoir, The Great Peace, where she pulls back the curtain and finally shares her struggles.
