Kimiko Super Fine Eyebrow Pencil Automatique
Kimiko Beauty was created by Canadian makeup artist Danielle Vincent. Danielle is Sandra Oh’s makeup artist and her amazing brow pencil was the first sku in the line. Danielle uses the shade Black Tea on Oh, and will sometimes also create a high/low light effect by using that with Coffee, which is a universally flattering hue. Using really short, upward strokes, start in the middle of the brow and work your way out.

Burt’s Bees Nourishing Eyeliner
Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s makeup artist used the Midnight Grey pencil from Burt’s Bees Nourishing Eyeliner line to create a full grey smoky eye on the star on the Golden Globes red carpet. She said she created the shape with the pencil; used a brush to diffuse the colour all over; and kept building like that until she achieved the desired effect. She noted that the pencil had really good glide and that she was confident the look would stay all night.

Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream
Jennifer Lopez arguably has the best skin in Hollywood. While she uses some expensive skincare products, one of her favourites is a drugstore find — Dr. Hauschka’s Rose Day Cream. J.Lo has said that it’s super hydrating and when she wears it, she feels like she’s doing something good for her skin. This lotion, which is one of the brand’s staple products, is packed with natural goodness, including 30 rose flowers in each tube (rose helps to balance skin and retain moisture), as well as St. John’s wort to help with redness.

Weleda Skin Revitalizing Eye and Lip Cream
For the SAG awards, makeup artist James Kaliardos used Weleda products to prep Michelle Williams’ complexion. One of our favourite tips from Kaliardos was using the eye and lip cream under the eyes and onto the upper lid, applying with a gentle tapping motion. You can even use your ring finger to be extra gentle on the delicate skin there. This formula can also be used on your lips.

Biossance Squalane + Phyto-Retinol Serum
This serum from Biossance does not contain retinol, but Jonathan Van Ness from Queer Eye loves this product because bakuchiol is touted as being a retinol alternative. Van Ness has psoriasis, so conventional retinol would cause a flare-up. With this serum, thankfully, he doesn’t have those issues. You also don’t need to be as wary about sun sensitivity with this product. Apply it day and night, but always do a patch test first. You may need to work up to using this one as well.

ANDALOU Naturals Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask
Ali Wong loves this face mask. She has said that it makes her skin feel super soft. It’s packed with vitamin C, glycolic AHA, beta-carotene and aloe vera. All of these in combination help to exfoliate and soothe the complexion at the same time.

Schmidt’s Here+Now Natural Deodorant
Rumour has it that Justin Bieber approached Schmidt’s to work on a deodorant together after he tried their natural versions and loved them. The brand and Bieber created a woodsy, gender-neutral scent for their collaboration. Here+Now is baking soda free, and utilizes the power of activated charcoal and vitamin E and coconut oil.

Innersense Refresh Dry Shampoo
Lizzo’s hairdresser got her onto Innersense, an all-natural hair care line out of California. Their dry shampoo is actually not dry at all — it’s a liquid-to-powder formula. Shake the bottle, add one to two pumps onto your fingertips, and then work into the roots of your hair. Allow it to dry and then brush through. This formula contains tapioca starch, organic honey and orange peel, all to help refresh second day hair.
