There's no doubt that for many, beauty is a form of self-care that can go way behind just looking good. It can even be a form of at-home escapism, which is something we could all use right about now! That's where 'slow beauty' comes in, and today green beauty expert Michelle Bilodeau shared what that is, and some amazing products that will elevate your routine.

The slow beauty philosophy is just as it sounds – it’s a return to a slower, simpler beauty and self-care routine. It focuses on the essentials, but it's also about taking the time to enjoy your beauty ritual and give yourself a bit of luxury at home. The products themselves are thoughtfully made using sustainable methods and intelligently sourced ingredients.

Check out Michelle's hand-picked products below that will kick-start you on your 'slow beauty' journey, and be sure to watch the video above for even more great tips!
