Except to wash it... don't forget to wash it.Find Erica's outfits below, and watch the video above for more!
LOOK 1: SWEATER AND WHITE DENIM
Try your sweater with a pair of cropped white denim for a fresh fall look. Keep in mind that when you’re wearing a cropped pant, a great way to elongate your look is by opting for footwear that’s the same colour. And because fall is all about layering, a cropped biker jacket layered on top of a vest is a really effective way to add interest to your look because of the different lengths at play.

LOOK 2: SWEATER AND SKIRT
Pairing your basic sweater with a printed skirt is another way to give your knit an update for fall, and animal print is always a chic option. If your sweater is on the longer side, try adding a belt at your natural waist; this will not only give your sweater a new shape, but it will also make your legs look longer. For some added edge, look no further than studded accessories.

LOOK 3: SWEATER AND FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS
For comfort and style, try pairing your sweater with faux leather leggings. And for added visual interest, layer a tailored shirt underneath your sweater, leaving the collar, cuffs and hem out; this is an easy styling technique that not only adds dimension, but also breaks up a monochromatic look like this. To add even more dimension, pop a printed “shacket” on top (a shacket is essentially a slightly oversize shirt-jacket hybrid).

LOOK 4: SWEATER AND SATIN TROUSERS
You can easily dress up your favourite sweater by pairing it with trousers done in a luxe fabric like these satin-effect pants. This is another monochromatic outfit which works because again, we’re mixing textures. Keep your shoes simple when working with a monochromatic look because you don’t want them to compete with the long line you’ve created. A printed bag is the finishing touch!
