Chocolate peanut butter banana pudding

Your favourite childhood flavours are put into a deliciously creamy pudding topped with whipped cream. 

YIELDS

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 cups of local Ontario milk
  • 3 tablespoons local Ontario butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chocolate vanilla cream cookies/biscuits
  • Whipped cream
  • 2 ripe bananas

Directions

  1. Put chocolate vanilla cream cookies in a bowl and crush with your hands to make small chunks. 
  2. Heat a pot on low heat. Melt butter and add sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, salt and vanilla extract. Turn the heat up To medium, slowly add milk and whisk. Remove from stove and place in the fridge for 20 minutes. 
  3. Heat peanut butter in the microwave to make it easier to pour. In a glass jar or cup, layer in this order. Pudding, cookie crumble, banana, peanut butter. Repeat twice. Top with whipped cream and cookie crush. Enjoy!
