Ingredients
1 can Pillsbury regular size cinnamon rolls (8 count)
4 your favourite breakfast sausage patties
4 slices American cheese
8 slices bacon
4 eggs
Maple syrup, for drizzling
Directions
Preheat an oiled outdoor griddle or skillet over low heat.
Open the can of cinnamon rolls and set the icing aside for later. Place the cinnamon rolls on the grill, leaving enough space between them to smash. Press down as you would on a smash burger using two spatulas or a burger press. Lightly toast the cinnamon rolls for about two to four minutes per side.
Increase the temperature of the grill or stovetop to medium. Add oil to the skillet, add your sausage patties bacon, and crack your eggs. Cook the sausage patties until a minimum internal temperature of 165ºF. Top the sausage patties with American cheese and let the cheese melt for two to three minutes. Cook the bacon and eggs to your liking.
Assemble the burgers by placing a sausage patty on a cinnamon roll bun and then top with a slice of black forest ham, two slices of bacon, and an egg. Drizzle maple syrup over top and place another cinnamon roll bun on top. Drizzle with icing and enjoy!
