Liquid chocolate bourbon ball

The bourbon ball has been a Southern delicacy since the 1930s. It’s a truffle-like dessert from Kentucky made with bourbon, pecans, wafer crumbs and chocolate.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 fl oz bourbon
- 1/2 fl oz crème de cacao
- 1/2 fl oz hazelnut liqueur
- 1 egg white
- 4 drops chocolate bitters
- Dark chocolate shavings
- Wafer crumbs, for garnish
Directions
- Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
- Add the bourbon, crème de cacao, hazelnut liqueur and egg white to the shaker.
- Shake well until chilled, and strain into a cocktail glass. Add the chocolate bitters.
- Garnish with dark chocolate shavings and wafer crumbs. Enjoy!
