  • 1 1/2 oz Lot No. 40
  • 100% Pot Still Rye Whisky
  • 1/2 oz Coconut Infused Amontillado Sherry
  • 3/4 oz Cashew Orgeat
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Bittered Sling
  • Moondog Latin Bitters
  • Large toasted coconut flakes, for garnish
  • Mint sprig, for garnish


  1. Combine all ingredients but the toasted coconut and mint sprig in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add enough ice to cover the liquid in the shaker, plus a bit more.
  3. Cover and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
  4. Pour the contents of the shaker into a 12-oz rock glass and top with cracked ice.
  5. Garnish with the large flakes of toasted coconut and mint sprig. Enjoy!
