Ingredients
Milk Bath
- 1/4 cup condensed milk
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon ube flavor
Frosting
- 1 1/2 cup chilled whipping cream
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 cup ube halaya (ube jam)
- 1 teaspoon ube extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Milk Bath
- Combine your three kinds of milk with some ube extract, then let the chiffon cakes soak in this creamy milk bath overnight.
Frosting
- Whisk whipping cream with sugar to stiff peaks and divide in half, one half add ube halaya and ube extract. Set aside for assembly.
Assemble
- To assemble top the soaked cake with a layer of ube whip cream and then top with plain whip cream and chill to set. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
