Air-fryer or oven baked jerk chicken thighs
Ingredients
- 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- White vinegar
- 2-4 tablespoons bottled or homemade jerk seasoning *if using bottled look for ingredients you recognize and lower sodium and sugar
- 2 teaspoons avocado oil
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
Directions
- Rinse chicken with white vinegar and rinse well with water.
- Pat chicken dry with paper towels and add jerk seasoning and avocado oil and apple cider vinegar and chicken to bowl and add coat chicken. *adding ACV will allow you to use less sauce and impart more flavour.
- Cover and let marinade for 30 minutes- to overnight
- Place chicken on single layer on air fryer or on baking sheet.
- Cook on roast at 350 for 10-12 minutes in oven or air-fryer and add more jerk sauce at 10-minute mark.
- Raise temp to 400 and finish cooking until meat has a slightly charged look.
