Beauty and the beet cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 ounce (30 millilitres) vodka
- 30 milliliters St. Germain elderflower liqueur
- 20 milliliters lemon juice
- 3 thin slices of beet, peeled, blanched for 1 minute and cut in half
- 5 drops Angostura bitters
- Ice cubes
- Beet leaf (optional)
Directions
- In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients and shake vigorously. Pour into a low-ball glass filled with ice cubes. If desired, garnish with a beet leaf.
