A super quick and easy black pepper sauce that's perfect for stir fries. Just six ingredients ready in under five minutes.
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 1/2 tablespoons corn starch
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 cloves finely grated garlic
Whisk ingredients for sauce in a bowl and set aside.
To prepare stir fry, season favourite protein (Pork, Chicken, Beef, Shrimp) with a bit of salt, and fry in a pan with a bit of oil until browned and almost cooked through. Remove from pan and transfer to a bowl.
Add a little more oil to the pan and flash fry your favourite veggies (I suggest Green Peppers and Onions) until tender, but still crisp (approximately 30 seconds). Transfer to same bowl as protein.
Heat frying pan on medium-high, and whisk sauce before pouring into hot pan. Allow to come to a boil and thicken. Add protein and vegetables and toss to coat.
Serve alongside hot jasmine rice.
