Canadiana punch

A summer beverage that is packed with fruit. Perfect for a backyard party!

Ingredients
- 3-4 citrus of your choice
- 180 millilitres caster sugar
- 180 millilitres citrus juice
- 1 750 millilitre bottle of spirit, your choice
- Ginger tea, kombucha or tannic teas, for a strong punch
- 1 litre of water, sweet fruit juices, soda water, tonic, etc. for a weak punch
- Ice
- Nutmeg
- Spices, citrus slices, cucumber, berries, etc., for garnish
Directions
- Peel three to four citrus with a vegetable peeler, place in a mason jar, cover with caster sugar, muddle a bit, seal and leave over night.
- Add citrus juice to the mason jar with oleo in it, shake until dissolved and pour into punch bowl.
- Add spirit of choice.
- Skip this step if making non-alcoholic punch. Add other ingredients, depending on how strong you want your punch.
- Grate one whole nutmeg over the bowl. Add garnish.
