Charred-onion and tomato salsa

Everyone needs a simple salsa recipe in their summer repertoire, and Chef Rodney's is as good as it gets. One scoop and you'll never buy the jarred stuff again.

Ingredients
- 900 grams fresh, sweet tomatoes, roughly chopped
- 2 sweet onions, split and grilled or pan-seared and baked, then roughly chopped
- 1 jalapeño pepper, finely sliced (keep the seeds if you want it really spicy)
- 3/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
- Juice of 2 limes
- Salt to taste (don't be shy!)
