Ingredients

1-1/2 cups white rice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 cup grated old cheddar

3 tablespoons heavy cream

1/2 cup diced jarred pimento
Directions
- Add the rice along with 2-3/4 cups of water to a medium pot. Scatter in the salt, garlic and onion powder. Cover and bring to a simmer. Cook on low for 15-18 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow the rice to rest for five minutes.
- Use a fork to fluff up the rice and add the cheese, pimento and heavy cream. Stir to combine until the cheese is melted and ooey gooey.
