Green pea guacamole


  • 2 ½ cups frozen green peas
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 small tomato, finely diced
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • Tortilla chips, for serving


  1. Place peas in a colander under running water until just thawed. Shake peas of any moisture and transfer to food processor.
  2. Add sour cream, olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and hot sauce. Pulse until smooth, then transfer to a serving bowl.
  3. Stir in tomato and cilantro, and serve with tortilla chips.
