  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1-2 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1/2 cup sweet onion, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 jalapeno (seeds removed), finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste


  1. Finely chop the garlic and jalapeno and set aside.
  2. Slice the avocados in half and twist the two halves apart.  Remove the pit and discard. Scoop the green flesh into the bowl with the chilies and garlic.  Mash together. 
  3. Add the cilantro, onion and tomato then mix together.
  4. Season with salt and finish with fresh squeezed lime juice.
