Ingredients

1 750 mL bottle of dry white wine

3 tablespoons white sugar

4 cloves

1 stick cinnamon

2 inches of ginger, sliced into rounds

Zest of one orange

Zest of one grapefruit
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a pot and warm until steam can be seen on the surface ensuring not to bring to a boil (this will cook off the alcohol). Once hot, turn off heat immediately and cover pot. Allow mixture to steep for 25 minutes for all the flavours to develop.
- Gently reheat just before serving. Serve in glasses.
