Saffron and lemon chicken wings

Ingredients
907 grams chicken wings
1 large onion, diced
1 cup yoghurt
1 teaspoon saffron
1 tablespoon turmeric
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
4 lemons
Directions
Put chicken wings in a large mixing bowl.
Add salt and generously rub into the wings.
Add pepper.
Add diced onion.
Add turmeric.
Rub the onion, salt, pepper, and turmeric into the wings.
Juice four lemons and add to the bowl.
Add cup of yoghurt.
Grind saffron and add to half a cup of boiling water (let sit for a few minutes).
Add saffron water to the bowl.
Cover and add to fridge – let marinate overnight or four to six hours.
Remove wings from the fridge and let sit until it reaches room temperature.
Turn on your grill and cook wings until skin is crispy (about 15 minutes on a metal skewer; 25 minutes if they aren’t on a skewer).
